How do I use your google map tool to create an event route? Print

When the closest city to the event location has been chosen, a pop-up google map tool will appear with the marker (isweat4 logo) in the centre of the map. All you have to do is drag the isweat4 logo and place it anywhere you want the Meeting Point to be. A search option at the top is also available, if you know the postcode/zip code or the street name.

Drawing the event route

  1. Once a meeting point has been selected, click “create event route” to display the marker menu.

  1. Click “add direction marker” to create your first marker point and drag it to the starting point of the route.
  1. Click “add direction marker” again to place the second marker (which will be placed in the same location as the previous marker), drag it to the next obvious intersection. Once you let go of the second marker, it will generate a closest route (in darker blue). Drag any marker as you see fit to adjust the route, and repeat this procedure until the route is completed.
  1. If the meeting point is incorrect you can go back, BUT ALL THE ROUTE INFO WILL NOT BE SAVED.
  1. Save the location when you have finished.
